Congratulations (again) to Professor Edward Burger!

The Huffington Post is in the midst of recognizing ~100 visionaries, ‘Game Changers’ and innovators across 12 different categories. Most recently, they focused their spotlight on the education segment and profiled 8 different individuals that are making fundamental changes in the education space. One of these was Professor Edward Burger, who has won over the hearts and minds of many with his engaging math video lessons.

Edward Burger worked with Thinkwell to create several different interactive and video-based math courses. His particular style of instruction is especially conducive to video given that he’s remarkably engaging. He’s truly a gifted instructor, as witnessed by the fact that he was recently honored with the Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching.

While he’s currently ranked #2 among the nine nominees, we’d love to see him take home this well-deserved honor for all of the work he’s doing in the education space. As anyone who has ever watched one of Burger’s videos can attest, he’s a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Math education!
